i felt so numb
as it pulled away
i felt no pain
glide across the space
it made perfect little cuts
on every inch of open flesh
i sat and watched the blood for hours
drip slowly down my arm and then
so slowly tore away the anguish
so slowly pulled it out again
for every hole it will cut open
and every slice across my skin
